Recently, Rolechem officially joined the Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base of Pudong New Area, Shanghai. This recognition not only reflects the company's capabilities in scientific and technological innovation and talent development, but also provides a new platform for Rolechem to attract and cultivate high-level research professionals and carry out cutting-edge technological research.

Founded in 2016, Rolechem specializes in the research, development, production, and sales of lithium-ion battery electrolyte additives, advanced electronic chemical materials for semiconductor applications, and functional polymer monomers.

As of the end of June 2026, the company had established a high-quality R&D team of nearly 70 professionals, bringing together multiple Ph.D. researchers and industry experts. In terms of intellectual property, Rolechem has accumulated 100 authorized patents in China, including 61 invention patents, as well as 14 overseas patents.

The company has also received a number of important qualifications and recognitions, including National High-Tech Enterprise status, designation as a National-Level Specialized, Sophisticated, and Innovative “Little Giant” Enterprise—among the key “Little Giant” enterprises supported by central government funding—and recognition as a Shanghai Manufacturing Single Champion Enterprise.

Rolechem has established a comprehensive technology chain covering molecular structure and synthetic route design, chemical synthesis, purification and testing, product validation, and large-scale production, providing a strong industrial foundation for the commercialization and application of scientific research achievements.

Leveraging the Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base, Rolechem will further strengthen the introduction and development of high-level scientific and technological talent and deepen industry–university–research collaboration with universities and research institutions.

Focusing on new energy materials, advanced electronic chemicals, and functional polymer materials, the company will continue to advance the research and development of next-generation battery additives and other innovative products. Rolechem will also actively explore cutting-edge technology areas, including electrolyte materials for solid-state batteries, accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and continuously strengthen its independent innovation capabilities.
